I just bought your book about Alligators in the Water Cooler. It is so dead-on to my current situation, that I am stunned and amazed.
I have been the target of mob bullying, instigated by one person. This person has done this before. I’ve been to management, but for financial purposes they do not want to take any permanent action to get rid of her.
I’m so glad to have found your book because you set everything out so clearly and succintly that it helps me keep my reality straight in my mind. Thank you so much for writing this book.
I am taking the steps you suggest to remove myself from the battering and your book is giving me the strength to know that ultimately I am a good, highly qualified and intelligent human being.
I do so very much appreciate you reaching out and for the "education." How did you know to reach out?
I am now, so very proud to say, I am transitioning very well to healing and forgiveness and refuse to be "stopped." :)
That is all I feel it necessary to say. Hope you will continue to update me.
Take good care.
Thank you ever-so-much
Thank you Judith, with your last link i was able to read up on your subject. it is very informative material that at this point & time, I find very comforting & helped me realize i am not alone.
Now, to see if my situation applies.
I just read your article about 4 Main Characteristics of Workplace Bullies. Thank you!. I thought I was crazy. After doing a lot of reading about bullying in the workplace, I realize not only have I participated in bullying, but have been a victim.
I am working on a story about surviving the experience. I would like to ask if I may use some of your information. My experience is still very fresh. I quit a job that I had for almost 30 years to escape.
The more people speak up and let others know what happened to them, the more victims will realize they can put and end to it not only for themselves, but for others as well.
Thank You so much,
I feel you could be the catalyst for change in this area. All of the circumstances experienced by the "bullied target" are exactly as I have experienced.
Thanks again for your commitment to this cause. If there is anything I can do in good old Indiana, just let me know.
I applaud you on the wonderful work you are doing with the bullying in the workplace. I am engaged in a situation in my workplace that have all the elements of bullying/intimidation.
